Delivery Responsibility Statement
Customers are responsible for being available during the estimated delivery window to receive their order directly from our driver. If the order cannot be physically handed to the customer, the customer accepts all responsibility and risks associated with unattended delivery, including theft, weather exposure, temperature changes, or product damage. Once an order leaves our warehouse and has been delivered by Glengarry Traditions, we are no longer responsible for lost, stolen, spoiled, or damaged products.
Allergy and Food Safety Statement
All products are prepared in a federally inspected and HACCP-certified facility operating under the standards of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR). Strict food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures are followed throughout production to minimize the risk of cross-contamination between meat products. Seafood and/or fish products are not further processed at this establishment.
Product Weight Disclaimer
All product weights listed on our website and packaging are gross weights and may vary by approximately +/- 5%. Minor fluctuations can occur during the fresh-to-frozen process and are considered normal within industry standards. All products are weighed using calibrated commercial-grade scales; however, occasional human error may occur during packaging and handling. If you believe there is a significant weight discrepancy with your order, please contact Glengarry Traditions within 48 hours of delivery so the issue can be reviewed and verified.
Missed Delivery Policy
Our drivers will follow any delivery instructions provided by the customer at checkout whenever possible. If no specific instructions are provided, the driver will attempt delivery by knocking and calling the contact number on file.
For residential homes, if no one is available to receive the order, the package may be left at the door at the customer’s risk.
For apartment buildings, condos, or secured units, if no delivery instructions are provided and no one is available to receive the order, the package will be returned to our warehouse. The order will then be available for pickup the following business day or at another agreed-upon time. A second delivery attempt may be arranged for an additional $25 delivery fee.
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of being placed, or up until the scheduled delivery day on a first-come, first-served basis depending on order preparation status. After this cancellation window, Glengarry Traditions reserves the right to apply a 10% restocking fee to cancelled orders.
Sales and Coupon Policy
Promotional sales, discounts, and coupon codes are valid only during the advertised promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases. Unless otherwise stated, coupon codes are limited to one use per customer and cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts. Glengarry Traditions reserves the right to modify, limit, or cancel promotions and coupon offers at any time without notice.
Packaging and Product Quality Statement
All orders are carefully packed and double-checked before leaving our facility to ensure product quality and packaging integrity. While every effort is made to prevent issues, occasional human error, damaged seals, or minor freezer burn may occur during handling or transportation. If you experience any concerns with your order, please contact Glengarry Traditions within 24 hours of reception so we can assess the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.
